OT’s Annual After-Party at The Great Northern 2016

Sunday, October 9, 2016

9:00PM – 3:00AM

The Great Northern

119 Utah St, San Francisco, CA 94103

After a day of street side renewal with friends and dusty laden party people, it’s time for Opulent Temple’s (totally unofficial and non-affiliated) After Party at (what is now known as) ‘The Great Northern’ (aka – a re-modelled Mighty) right around the corner, so save some mojo for us!

OT residents and guests will be in effect for a smooth party transition. This party is always insta-vibe as everyone comes in all dressed up desert proper and already warmed up from the previous festivities and we jump right in for more.

Taking Monday off is an excellent idea 😉

Sliding donation cover. A 100% benefit for our OT projects & our 501c, the Sacred Dance Foundation

10:00 & Donatello

Opulent Temple returns, for Chapter 14 at Burningman, to bring our vision of sacred dance to world class music in the desert. Thanks for taking this ride with us! We still give the gift of the extensive effort because of the community and the co-created vibe. Our goal is to connect and awaken, and to bring that back into the default world all year round. Especially in an election year, the need for conscious people taking action is a responsibility we all share.

We’re not trying to be the biggest and the baddest this year, but just do our Opulent thing and bring our vibe and invite anyone that wants to come find us to be a part of it. (So come find us at 10&D) Thank you all for your on going support of us and our events so that we can be here to do what we do. See you on the dance floor, under the stars and the fire.

See you at 10:00 & Donatello

Our 6th Annual Sacred Dance ‘White Party’ in LA 2016

Saturday, June 11, 2016

9:30PM – 4:00AM

The Belasco

1050 South Hill Street, LA, CA 90015

Opulent Temple, Cruz Coalition & The Steampunk Saloon present Our 6th Annual Sacred Dance ‘White Party’

Our signature OT event with ramped up production value, decor, and performance, where we pull out all the stops, and so do you, to make some co-created magic.

Why the venue change you may ask? – We had a great run at Lot 613 but we felt for this 6th year it was time to switch it up. We loved our time there but we didn’t want to just throw the same party year after year. The Belasco is a suitably opulent environment that gives us more production options than Lot 613 and more room to grow to allow more people to vibe with us after selling out most years. Trust us that magic is still our top priority!

Sacred Dance is a 100% benefit for Opulent Temple’s 501c non-profit: the Sacred Dance Foundation and our 2016 Burning Man camp

Infected Mushroom – CVII Animatronica Live Tour

Saturday, May 8, 2016

9:00PM – 3:30AM

The Midway SF

900 Marin St, San Francisco, CA 94124

After many absolutely epic moments with them at Opulent Temple on playa like this, we get to create some absolutely epic moments here in the city on May 7th, as Opulent Temple & Opel team up to bring you a full on Infected Mushroom live concert on their Animatronica Tour. The stage design comes courtesy of the same artist behind the Pulpo Mechanico flaming Octopus you’ve seen around playa many years and if you’ve seen their live shows you know it’s absolute electricity from start to finish.

OT DJ’s before and after their live set for a full on long night of infected opulent bad ass shenanigans.

Get them at their lowest tiers

Infected Mushroom Bio

To pioneer your own sub genre of electronic music in the music industry today is no simple task, it is essentially equivalent to Chuck Berry inventing Rock music in 1955 or Massive Attack effectively originating Trip Hop in 1983.

Electronic music, mega-revolutionaries Infected Mushroom are renowned for being the sonic innovators of crafting hypnotic arrangements, complex layered melodies and synthetic rhythms known as “Psychedelic Trance,” leaving behind all their dying “Trance” cousins in the mainstream. Twice ranked as the world’s “10 Best DJ’s” by the Bible of the Scene (U.K.’s DJ Magazine), the Israel-bred, L.A. based duo Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani and Erez Eisen have established their self invented genre among the highest in the scene.

One could easily scour pages of the Internet in vain to find the epic level of music history defining the Infected Mushroom “kingdom.” Their most notable achievements include: 1999 breakthrough debut album, The Gathering, which gained immediate attention on club dance floors and in the hands of Goa/Psy-Trance DJ’s.

Fast >> 2007’s their critically acclaimed and highest-grossing album Vicious Delicious, catapulted the duo onto new levels. The success of that album was met with high anticipation for another which was dropped in 2009 with the The Legend of the Black Shawrama. The album included noteworthy hit track, Smashing the Opponent, for featuring guest vocals by legendary Korn lead Jonathan Davis. By no coincidence on the title, did Smashing the Opponent album-hit #8 on the Billboard charts. If that’s not impressive enough—there is the band’s average 120 live performances a year including, repeat, sold-out shows from the Ultra Fest in Miami to the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, from Mexico’s OMIX to Cali’s Coachella, to Brazil’s Ipanema Beach, and from Melbourne’s Metro Club to the 2009 and 2011 Burningman Festival in Black Rock City for Opulent Temple, Nevada. Not to mention collaborations with big Rock legends; Ray Manzarek (The Doors), Perry Farrell (Jane’s addiction) and then their insane amount (roughly 14,000,000) hits on You Tube simply cannot go without mention.

The best is always yet to come with Erez and Duvdev; in early 2012 they released the Army of Mushrooms, their most multifaceted electronic album delivery to date since 2009’s “Legend of the Black Shawarma.” Army of Mushroom’s doesn’t hold back for a second, doing what the guys “do best”−invent, experiment, create, re-arrange, flip-up, bend-over, twist-sideways while staying true to their electronic roots diced with their own flavor—dash of added breaks, dubstep, and of course, always trippy and psychedelic. 2013 marks a year of reinvention for the duo as they embark on the “FungusAmoungUS Tour” with an all new 3D mapped experience. Infected’s new
production is truly one of a kind. Stimulating 3D mapped visuals are landscaped onto “pods”, projecting psychedelic visuals that
become the backdrop for enigmatic vocals, hypnotic arrangements, and psy-trippy synthetic rhythms.

Adoring fans continue to descend below Infected’s stage en masseat festivals and stadiums shows–Nocturnal Wonderland (Texas/Los Angeles), World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF) in Canada, Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas, Nevada), and the Opulent Temple at Burningman (Black Rock City, Nevada).

All walks of life to experience Infected Mushroom, the world’s greatest Psy-Trance band of the decade.
